Fear

Lest I admit my weakness,
I will fight against you
And this swirling indelible need
To give you everything I have.

Should I turn away in your sight
And forget my bearings,
In this opening there I lay
Naked and Fragile
Ancient and Beautiful
Strong.
Dark.
Deep.
Nourishment for all of Man,
A swirling well of life, itself.
A Mirror of the Soul.
A Window to the Universe.
Laid bare for the world to reap.
